Our Team

Mandy Learo has nearly two decades of executive experience at the intersection of workforce development, trauma recovery, and organizational growth. Her approach is grounded in lived experience and years of leading agencies where trauma-impacted clients and personnel thrived.

Prior to founding TIW Consulting, Mandy served at the VP level for Jasmine Road, a nationally-recognized agency focused on economic mobility and healing services for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. She acted as executive director for Sylvia House, a residential trauma and substance use recovery program, and she was the founder and owner of MoveYoga, a therapeutic provider for corporations and clinical partners.

Mandy holds certifications in executive coaching, victim services provision, trauma-informed care, recovery coaching, and evidence-based group facilitation, with specialized training in motivational interviewing and strengths-based, trauma-specific leadership development.

Mandy serves on the boards of Living Bread and the SC Chapter of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences. She lives in Greenville with her family, where in her free time she likes to write poetry and go for walks.

Mischa Stringer, LMFT-A, MMFT, LMBT, RYT-200, is a therapist and trauma specialist with a background in mindfulness, bodywork, and holistic health. In private practice, she helps individuals and relational systems process, heal from, and integrate adverse experiences so they can lead rich, productive lives. Mischa believes in the importance of trauma training and competence not only because it improves business outcomes but also because it advances the cause of human wellbeing through support and equipment of both leaders and workers. Outside of work, Mischa loves paddleboarding, dancing, and spending quality time with her friends.

Dr. David Truby is an educator and expert on adult learning and effective curriculum design. Throughout his 30-year career, he has engaged and equipped learners through thoughtful instruction and innovative educational practices. David understands how trauma can affect communication, functioning, and professional performance, and he brings this perspective to his work with students and organizations. He is currently a professor at Greenville Technical College, a state-supported institution focused on workforce development and student success. David is a devoted husband and father who enjoys reading, basketball, and listening to jazz.
